Class Visit: ORIE 5380/CS 5727 Optimization MethodsBy: Andrea Lodi This course covers algorithmic and computational approaches to solving optimization problems for business decision-making. Students learn linear, integer, and nonlinear optimization, with an emphasis on large-scale computational applications and connecting programming languages to optimization software. The course also addresses uncertainty and applications such as e-commerce pricing and marketing, online ad auctions, and ride-sharing.
